I’ve celebrated my 30th birthday a few day ago.  I did not do anything fancy because I’ve got a cast on my right hand. I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow and my cast might be taken off (hopefully!!!).

Anyway, a couple of friends came to visit and I have received an aromatic gift: Acqua di Gioia by Georgio Armani. My friend knew I like it and decided to make me a surprise.

It is an eau fraiche which means it is a legere fragrance. It is a citrusy – aquatic fragrance and includes jasmine which is one of my favorites perfume notes. The silage is very good in my opinion and the smell is not clogging, it is not the ‘in your face’ kind of perfume.

A bit of fragrance background about me: I am into spicy perfumes and also enjoy aquatic fragrances. I was a fan of the sweet perfumes, but they are no longer my favorites. I love perfumes, I have quite a collection, and I prefer to wear a perfume based on my state of mind. I still own sweet fragrances and wear them from time to time.
