Purrring for Skincare – June Purchases

Drugstore visit

Yesterday I’ve paid a visit to the drugstore and selected a few new items to test.

I’ve used another version of the Anthelios by La Roche-Posay creme about two years ago and it really protected me from sun damage. This creme has a very high SPF and I like it that does not have perfume and it has a gel formula. Let’s see if it will make my face oily…

Another new product I’ve bought for testing is the Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel from the same brand. I plan to use it with my VisaPure brush from Philips. I will keep you posted on how these two work together.

When it comes to skin exfoliators, I’ve had a hard time finding a replacement for the Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Facial Exfoliator from The Body Shop.  I hate that there’s no shop in town where I can buy it from and it can only be ordered online. Because of this, I’m always peaking in stores and drugstores for products that I could replace it with. I haven’t found one yet – I’ve tested multiple so far, but I plan on writing a blog post about them, so I won’t be bothering you with the details for now. I hope that the Exfoliant Purifying Gel from Bioderma Sebium is good enough to take my mind from The Body Shop product for a while. I plan to use it with my exfoliating brush from VisaPure.

The last two products are actually my sister’s: she swears by the Pur 2 in 1 Face and Eye Make-up Remover from Galenic. It’s been her go-to cleanser for years. And she plans to test Cicaplast Levres lipbalm from the La Roche-Posay (which I think I had it, but I’m not sure).

So, this is a summary of my last drugstore visit. Have you tried any of these?
